Or your kids are grown and no longer interested in hunting eggs? Then you make one for your furry children! Yep, we’re taking that “dogs are our kids” saying to the next level, and we’re proud of it! You may think we’re nutty. That’s fine. But you and your dog are sure to love these tips for making your waglet his very own Easter egg hunt. Continue Reading >>>>>

Tags:As the Spring flowers begin to bloom and the grass is growing taller, the birds and the bees are becoming more frequent to the outdoors. Now, going for a hike through the woods or a game of tag around the dog park has a higher risk level to it. Bee stings are no joke – they can be fatal to dogs, just as they can to humans. Tags:With the warm weather on our heels, we’ve all be spending more time outdoors with our waglets. Going to the park, swimming at the beach or lake, taking a morning stroll to get in that exercise – whatever it is, we love the outside and the warm sunshine! Winter is gone, Spring is here…and so are the fleas! Yep, this weird warm front going around most of the US has brought in the pesky bugs early this year, like mosquitoes and fleas. So we’ve hunted down some of our loyal customers, our trusted friends and even some people we’ve passed at the dog park to ask them what flea medicine they use. And these were the top 3 winners!
Tags:As the weather warms, our dogs seem to be dropping little pieces of themselves all over the house – balls of fur! And, if you have big dogs like we do, those pieces of themselves may be just a tad larger than “little”.
With 4 German Shepherds, we feel your pain this shedding season. It seems you could brush your pup all day and never make a dent in the loose hair whirling off their body. You may think the only possible relief would come from shaving them bald.
Before you give your waglet a new doo, we have some tips and a (really) cool tool to help your shedding woes!
Tags:The weather is getting warmer, the trees are starting to get their green leaves, spring flowers are blooming and Robins are bee-bopping all over the yards. There’s no denying it – Spring has sprung! And there’s not much of a better way to enjoy the beautiful outdoors than hiking with your dog! But maybe you’re new to hiking or have explored the same trails for years and ready for something new? Either way, we have some of the best hiking destinations that you must see with your pooch! Get ready, get set, HIKE!
We haven’t put these destinations in any particular order. We think any hike can be the best hike, no matter where you are. These are just some guides to get you out with your dog and have some fun!
North East U.S
Pennsylvania hosts some amazing state parks with great hiking trails. One of the best is in Blue Knob State Park in Bedford County. There are over 18 miles of trails in the park and you can always find a place to be alone. The high elevations allow for great look out areas to take some adorable pictures with your pup!
Also in PA is the Ohiopyle State Park. Located in the Laurel Mountains, this park is packed full with 79 miles of trails, swimming holes all over the place along the Youghiogheny River. Ohiopyle is best known for its white water rafting but the views along the trails are just as amazing.
Acadia National Park in Maine hosts 100 miles of hiking trails, flat roads and beaches to explore, not to mention the breath taking view of the rocky Maine shoreline. There are some restrictions for dogs here but they are allowed on 2 of the park’s camp sites which means you can plan a weekend together!
South East U.S
The Appalachian Trail has some of the best trails in the United States. But one of our favorite lies in the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. There are tons of trails to choose from with different length from just a half mile to as much as 13 miles one way. And the views are something you can only see to believe.
The Gatlinburg Trail inside of the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN is one of the few places dogs are allowed in the Smoky Mountains. This trail is 3.8 miles long and part of it travels along with Little Pigeon River.
West U.S
Runyon Canyon Park in L.A. is a large 160 acre park with plenty to see and do. Hiking trails are plentiful but you can also take in some awesome views, meet some locals and experience the culture of the area. There are plenty of trails with elevations as high as 700 feet so be sure to bring your camera!
Salt Lake City has some of the most sought after views of the West and the trails in Salt Lake City can take you there. The trails range from easy to hard and in between, to give you something different every time you go out.
And, of course, we cannot forget about the Grand Canyon. This is the destination point of hikers and non-hikers alike for the views, the history and the surrounding nature all around. With so many trails to choose from, this is a place you can go over and over again and never see the same thing twice.
For even more lists of dog friendly trails to hike, please visit HikeWithYourDog.com. They have an endless list of trails and parks for every state, as well as Canada.
And don’t forget your WagletWorks products before you hit the trail!

People, I am here to tell you something. It is called Why Cats Are Jealous of WagletWorks. And it is very serious. But before I tell my story. I have to say something. I do not hate cats. I like cats. A lot. I have a Sister that is a cat. And there is a Fat Cat. That lives at my House also. But I do not like him. Not because he is a cat. But because he touches my things. With his fat mittens. I digress. I love my WagletWorks System. But the cats at my House do not. I will tell you why.
